What are the benefits of an In-Home Design Consultation?
There are so many different elements involved in interior styling and design. From creating a complementary colour palette to furniture placement and floor plans, there’s a whole lot of work involved in designing the perfect home environment.
Even though you might have a distinct design style in mind, it can be difficult to pull all of the different pieces together without any previous experience. An in-home consultation gives you the benefit of working with a professional interior designer who has extensive industry knowledge, and understands how to apply design principles effectively to create beautiful and functional spaces that you can truly connect with.
An in-home consultation is also a huge time-saver, making them the perfect solution for busy homeowners. We’re here to give you peace of mind by researching and sourcing each design element on your behalf, while still keeping consistent with your own individual style.
Our expert interior design specialists can also assist with making design decisions that work within your budget - offering exceptional value that can actually end up saving you money in the long run.
Whether you just need a helping hand selecting the right furniture and decor for your home, or somebody to manage your entire design project, our tailored packages are designed to suit your own unique requirements.
How does an In-Home Design Consultation work?
The first step in our in-home design consultation begins with visiting the property. This is where our qualified interior designer will discuss your needs and requirements, take detailed photos and measurements, brainstorm ideas and offer suggestions and advice.
Where applicable, we then invite you back to our Tweed Heads showroom for a follow-up chat. We’ll suggest some options based on our initial consultation, and confirm the direction of your visual mood board.
You’ll also have the opportunity to touch and feel different fabrics and finishes in person, explore our showroom, and offer your thoughts and feedback. Basically, we’ll use this time to ensure we are on the same page when it comes to the overall look and feel of your home.
We then offer 3 affordable package options in order to move forward with your mood board - depending on the number of rooms and different areas involved in your project.
Once your desired package is selected, we get to work researching products, sourcing different pieces and compiling a comprehensive mood board tailored specifically to your needs - including furniture, artworks, textiles, accessories, materials, colour palettes and pricing. This process usually takes between 7-10 days.
