Our property styling team have had the opportunity to work with a variety of different homes across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern NSW, but some properties definitely leave a lasting impression.  And when it comes to incredible homes, this recently completed property styling project in Kingscliff would have to be one of our favourites! "This stunning architecturally-designed property was an absolute dream to style" says interior designer, Dani Teefy. A customised, partial furniture hire package was quoted to showcase the full potential of this million dollar home, in order to maximise the sale price and target the right buyers, as well as work within the owners budget. Keep reading for a behind-the-scenes look into this project, with some insight from property agent Peta Hunt from LJ Hooker Kingscliff. A LITTLE ABOUT THE HOME "This striking, quality-built home will impress you from the entry foyer, with its soaring roof-lines, open plan living, huge kitchen & separate plumbed bar area," explains agent Peta Hunt, LJ Hooker, Kingscliff. Peta explains, "The home is a very nice home in an amazing beachside location, but wasn’t getting the buyer traction it deserved. The owners had just moved out and the house was vacant. I recommended your (Tailored Space Interiors) styling service, to help give the home the wow factor it needed and to showcase the home in its best light in order to impress buyers as soon as they walked in the door."   OUR PARTIAL STYLING PACKAGE & INCLUSIONS Each property is different and requires a unique approach to the way it is styled based on things like location, the architectural design and any other existing style elements of the home.  Working closely with the agents from Lj Hooker Kingscliff and working towards the clients ideal interior styling, we were able to completely customise a quote to suit all parties. Instead of styling every area of the home, we decided to put a huge focus mainly on the living and entertaining areas, the alfresco along with 2 out of 4 of the bedrooms.Bringing our furniture hire package price down to a low $583/week.   OUR PROPERTY STYLING STRATEGY When furnishing each area of the home, we wanted to complement the existing ‘beach house’ feel with a furniture hire package that represented a low maintenance, relaxed coastal lifestyle. Keeping in line with the existing colours of the property, we styled the home with a palette of fresh white, black and pale grey tones and introduced shades of blues and greens to bring the seaside feel into the interior. These colours were used throughout each area of the property, from the living and dining areas through to the master bedroom and bathrooms - creating a beautiful “flow” throughout the home. "I created a coastal contemporary design - bringing in texture of cane, leather, linen and pops of colour" says Interior Designer, Dani. "The house had so much natural light and ample space to play with. I wanted to create an overall relaxed and inviting atmosphere where buyers could instantly envision themselves in the space." "I was extremely happy with the result. The property was transformed and we have had excellent enquiry and very minimal negative feedback regarding the actual home itself. We chose to showcase the media room as a 4th bedroom. I was a bit concerned at first, as the media room had no built-ins. I was assured by your team that it would come up really well and I was more than happy with the outcome..." explained Peta.
