Flatlay Friday Interior Design Inspiration | Gold Coast Interior Design | Tailored Space Interiors

by Bec Lawson |

We're here today with a 'Flatlay Friday' edition to the blog that we usually reserve for our Instagram and Facebook social media platforms. Providing your weekly dose of interior design inspiration... Ellen our showroom manager has cleverly created a few flatlay arrangements to get you excited about your interior styling. This is a service that we can provide to our in-home consultations clients, so if you like what you see below, feel free to contact us with your enquiry!

Ellen has an amazing design gift and is able to put together these visual aids for our clients. Complete with a complementing colour palette, textures and fabrics, we've added 3 very different flat lay looks to give you some interior design inspiration, just in time for the weekend!

A CALIFORNIAN DREAM

Featured products from Armadillo, Warwick Fabrics, Laminex & Tile Trends.

Now a look like this isn't for everyone, but we had to include it!
We are seeing a lot more confidence in our clients when it comes to incorporating colour into their interiors and this Winter has been VERY popular for deep yellows and mustard colours! (And we're not sorry about it!)

To achieve this look:
- Incorporate a combination of bright & pastel colours
- Keep things interesting with quirky & fun pattens
- Use materials such as jute, rattan or wicker. This will add that textural element to the space and achieve multiple layers of depth, making for a very interesting and one of a kind interior.

TRIBAL CHIC

As more people are stepping out of their comfort zone when it comes to their interior styling. We are steering away from the very popular coastal style and have been able to enjoy working with new interior styles. The tribal look has been one of them!

Materials such as leather and natural woven elements like jute are popular in this interior as they add an additional layer of warmth on top of those quirky tribal patterns.

HAMPTONS HAVEN

Ellen has put together a classic Hamptons colour palette using hues of blues and whites. And of course, it wouldn't be a completed Hamptons look without incorporating a bit of patterned perfection into the mix!

So there you have it! I hope we gave you a bit of interior inspiration leading into your weekend! If you have any looks that you would like to see us put together in a flat lay combination, please feel free to hit 'reply' to this email and let us know!
