It’s been another busy month for our property styling team here at Tailored Space Interiors! We’ve spent the last few weeks working closely with homeowners and agents on some successful staging projects on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
From a light-filled townhouse in Lennox Head to a family home in Runaway Bay, take a look at some of our favourite recent property styling projects below along with our home staging strategy for each one.
Barrett Drive, Lennox Head | Tweed Coast Property Styling
About the property: This 3-bedroom Lennox Head townhouse was located in a prime coastal position, just minutes from both 7 Mile beach and Lake Ainsworth. Filled with plenty of natural light, an outdoor entertaining area and open-plan living, it was important for us to showcase the relaxed lifestyle on offer through this split level home.
Our property styling strategy: The existing colour scheme at the property included cream walls, white shutters and a pale mint kitchen splashback, so we chose a selection of modern furniture and decor to complement these beachy tones. Coastal-inspired artworks and patterned textiles helped to add a pop of colour to each space, while our relaxed outdoor setting showed off the entertaining area surrounded by lush plants and timber decking.
We also showcased the spacious bedrooms with plush upholstered bed-heads, crisp white linen, occasional chairs and coastal cushions to create a contemporary yet cosy look. Working with the team at Elders Lennox Head, the end result is a warm and inviting beach-inspired home that appeals to a wide range of buyers looking for a laid-back lifestyle in Northern NSW.
Thyme Court, Runaway Bay | Gold Coast Property Styling
About the property: This double storey Runaway Bay home included an expansive open floor plan with 3 bedrooms, 2 living areas and an in-ground pool. Being an older home with slightly dated design elements, our property styling services were used to create a more modern and inviting look to maximise its appeal.
Our property styling strategy: Because this property was being marketed as both an ideal first home for couples and families, as well as investors looking to break into the Gold Coast property market, it was important for the styling to appeal to both audiences. We used a neutral, contemporary colour palette of greys, whites and timber tones throughout the styling, with pops of teal, greens and blues.
We focused our attention on maximising the living, dining and bedroom areas to help buyers visualise themselves living in the space, along with incorporating plenty of plants and textiles to make the home look and feel more inviting. Working with the team at Realtor GC, we are incredibly happy with how our custom furniture hire package has elevated the overall appearance of the home!
Daffodil Street, Tallebudgera | Gold Coast Property Styling
About the property: This spacious 4-bedroom Tallebudgera home was a dream to style! With modern timber flooring, brand new bathrooms, a new kitchen, and 2 ample living areas, we had a great base to work with for this property styling project.
Our property styling strategy: It was important for us to showcase the function of each area of the home to potential buyers, so we styled both the living and dining areas as well as providing decor and accessories for the study and bedrooms. Being located on acreage and surrounded by nature, we chose to incorporate earthy timber tones with blue, green and grey accents to complement the home’s location.
We then completed the look with some statement artworks, modern accessories, potted plants and cosy textiles. Working again with the Realtor GC team, we are over the moon with the end result!
